Star ShapeFrameyu vs Twibbonize

Your supporters should never pay to use your frame.

Frameyu and Twibbonize do the same core job: turn a campaign overlay into a link anyone can add their photo to. They disagree about who gets charged for it.

The short answer

  • Both let you publish a photo frame and share it as a single link.
  • Twibbonize sells paid plans to campaign creators and to the supporters who use their frames.
  • Frameyu only ever charges the creator — supporters download clean, watermark-free PNGs with no account and no ads.

Who pays

Every frame campaign has two seats.

The person who makes the frame, and the person who uses it. Both platforms will happily charge the first one. Only one of them also sells something to the second.

This is the whole difference, and everything below is a consequence of it. Your supporters are the people you are asking for support — on Frameyu they are never the ones being sold to.

Head to head

What that costs your supporters.

Only claims we can point at a public source for. Where Twibbonize does not document something, it is not on this page.

“Unfortunately, no; ads are only removed for Twibbonize Premium users.”

So a creator who pays can clear the watermark for their supporters, but not the ads. On Frameyu there is nothing to clear — your supporters see no ads and no watermark whether or not you ever pay us.

Twibbonize details are quoted from its public documentation, checked August 1, 2026. We do not list its prices here — they change, and a stale number would be worse than none.

Where Twibbonize is the better pick.

We would rather you land on the right tool than churn off the wrong one.

You want an existing audience

Twibbonize has been running far longer and has a large public campaign directory. If discovery inside the platform matters more to you than what your supporters pay, that reach is real and Frameyu does not match it yet.

You need broad language coverage

Frameyu is English-only today. Twibbonize serves a much wider set of locales, which matters if your supporters do not read English comfortably.

You are already running there

A live campaign mid-flight is not worth moving. Frameyu is the better call for your next launch, not for one that is already collecting supporters.

Switching

Moving a campaign over.

  1. 1

Bring the frame you already have

Export your overlay as a transparent PNG and upload it, or rebuild it in Studio from a template. Nothing has to be redrawn from scratch.

  2. 2

    Publish it to a link

Pick a handle and publish. The link works immediately — supporters add a photo and download, with no account and no watermark.

  3. 3

Add the rest of the campaign

Attach a form for sign-ups or RSVPs, write a note for the brief, and watch the numbers in analytics. All of it is on the free tier.
