About Frameyu
Why I built it
Back in November 2023, a few campus orgs I knew were running campaigns and hitting the same wall every time. The existing frame tools either stamped a watermark on every export, dropped the resolution, made supporters sit through an ad before the download, or were priced for marketing teams instead of student orgs. The brief was simple: a clean PNG, no badge, one link supporters could open without signing up.
So I built one. A small tool for DP Blasts. It stuck.
What it does now
That small tool grew into what I actually wanted it to be. Frameyu turns a single link into a working campaign:
- One link, one upload. Supporters open the link, drop in their photo, adjust, and export — no account, no friction.
- Clean exports. Full-resolution PNG. No watermark. No "made with Frameyu" badge in the corner, even on Free.
- A real studio. Layered editor, snap-to-grid, blend modes. Build the frame the way you'd build it in a paid tool, then export when it looks the way you want.
- Analytics that stay out of the way. See downloads as they happen — enough to know the campaign is moving, without bolting on a tracker.
Free forever for individuals and small teams. Pro adds scale — unlimited frames, multi-frame campaigns, a custom URL handle, deeper analytics — when you need it.
Who it's for
Campus orgs running DP Blasts. Nonprofits with a launch week. Brands running an awareness push. School events. Anyone with a moment they want their community to share — and a frame their community will actually want to use.
Where it's going
I'm still the one shipping this, in the evenings, between everything else. Almost every feature on the roadmap came from someone telling me they'd hit a wall with the current version. If you've used Frameyu and there's something it should do — tell me. Most of what's good about it started that way.
